so. valentine's day turned out considerably worse that i expected it, even though i'm single and alone.
the guy that likes me came up to me this morning and handed me a single red rose and a letter. now, let's pause a moment here. if he were just about any other guy, it would have been sweet. but he's not any other guy. he's the guy who falls head over heels for a girl and DOES. NOT. GIVE. UP. you can give him the cold shoulder. you can ignore him. you can avoid him. you can have ALL of your closest friends tell him it's not happening. and he'll still write you a love letter, including various pathetic, cliché, and desperate lines like "i think if you just try, you can find it deep within you." ok excuse me if i'm wrong, but if it's "meant to be" shouldn't there be no searching involved? no desperate measures? no pleas and cries and begging? THIS BOY NEEDS A CLUE.
maybe i'm over-reacting. but then again, i've been trying to give this boy a sign since...october, i think? i've hardly even spoken to him since then.
i want the biggest anvil ever to drop on his little, empty head.
