The Concept of Privilege = White & Male Shaming

Anon wants me to feel bad about being born white and male. Here's a few of the many reasons why that's ridiculous and you should find yourself another hobby other then trying to be the good feelings police around the internet.

1. All you are doing, anon, is the same thing that men who make women feel bad about themselves for dressing lushly or engaging in sexual encounters freely, except towards innocent white men who have no desire to perpetuate your cult mentality.

2. Shame doesn't teach anyone anything all it does is make those susceptible of it hide themselves from everyone else and choose not to participate in discussions or movements. The people out there who are commiting real racial and sexist attorcities have no shame. All you are doing is creating a gap between otherwise neutral parties of whites and males that otherwise could possibly help your cause.

3. Thinking that all white men think and act alike because they were born white and male is profiling them. Your doing the same thing you are claiming George Zimmerman did to Trayvon Martin except you believe you have the moral high ground because I'm white and male. Sexism and Racism exist in all people no matter who you do it to. It doesn't suddenly stop being racism or prejudice because you are doing it to a person in your assumed state of privilege.

4. Your endulgence of the cult has made it so you can't trust anyone in their realm of privilege causing you to live what must be a very paranoid and unhappy life. Your natural responce to this unhappiness must be to take it out on them. Besides try and challenge your cult mentality what else have I personally done to you?

5. Your assumed system of Privilege doesn't work. There isn't some special tattoo all white people have or some key card we all get once we come of age like in the movie The Skulls that suddenly make everything a shit ton easier on us. We still get stopped by police, we still get screwed out of promotions, we still have trouble getting loans. I've been looking for a second job for almost a year now and I can't find one. It's sure as hell isn't because of affirmative action. The only thing that changes that is money as I had already stated. When you have money you could be colored blue for all they care. Suddenly once you have the green respect and privileges flow to you like wine. And people with that green aren't entitled to share it. Look at native american run casinos. With as much money they get per year there shouldn't be a single native american living in poverty, but there are because those who run the casinos aren't required to build up any other native americans around them. So they Don't.

6. Plenty of african americans and women choose to make life difficult for other women and people of color. The supposed white boogeyman that makes everything so tough for the gammat of poverty stricken african americans and women are not the Arian race that Hitler said are the supreme race destined to rule the earth. There are pleanty of conservative women and wealthy african americans who don't give two shits about the racial divide or reproductive rights. It's not just a panel of white men wearing white powdered wigs in blue colonial jackets deciding things anymore. Women and people of color in power have no responsibility to share their success with others like them so they often don't. Kobe Bryant may play pick up basketball with some youth league for a day, but he isn't taking money out of his wallet to pick up the run down part of town those kids live in.

7. Bitching about white and male privilege in America is like bitching about a fly in your soup when children in Africa are starving to death daily. The real patriarchy is in the middle east. The real wealth diversity is in countries like North Korea where one man and his family lives like a god while everyone else under him live off dirt.

Go ahead and continue your pointless crusade and tell me once again how I don't know anything about the world. Open up to your Cult of Minority bible and quote more about how I'm the scum of your utopia where all white men beg you for forgiveness for the ultimate sin of being born white and male. Sorry, sister. I don't drink out of that cup. I don't pay reparations to your cult. If you are not going to get some courage and come out of your anonymous veil don't bother responding back. I looked up those two hate mongering, victimists you suggested. If a couple of shame filled, white folk want to live their life telling other white folk to feel sorry for themselves, then more power to them. I bet they make a pretty penny off of saps like you who bought into their philsophy of self-depreciation.

please list my logical errors. I need a good laugh. Why do I need to change? I must not be good enough for PC America. I'm actually pretty damn glad I'm not. Nice People finish last in this world. They way it is structured is so the most wicked of us thrive. Going on thirty I've played nice and it's gotten me nothing in the business end of things. I have a beautiful fiance, but everyone else i had in my life abandoned me due to our clash because of this ridiculous cult. Because my will wouldn't allow me to be caught behind the veil of nerf America. Because I watched someone so strong be reduced to a puddle of insecurity like she had never known before feminism and any fight she once had in her is now nothing, but a barrage of motivational poster bullshit, and rewritten blog entries from other feminists and such members of the feel good mafia running tumblr about how constantly screwed she is. How does one find happiness drowning in the pool of that sense of hopelessness?
sorry friend, but i'm not resentful, i'm actually a pretty peaceful person. oh i just assumed that the easiest way for you to obtain this new knowledge would be via internet, but i can assure you this is all available in many libraries. if anything it all might fortify your positions, but hey, it's all up to you. i've written this all to you out of pity. you make some pretty great points but then contort your assertions by following them up with so many logical errors. the evidence you use, all bad man. finally, you end up perpetuating the same filth you hate. my objective is not to change you, that's on you, i just wanted to merely introduce a suggestion or two that may end up benefiting you in the future? when we debate, the most one can hope for is to get the other person to evaluate their position from a different lens. that's it. so, with that i say good day to you

better idea. Drop your dependence on the new PC America where the worst thing you could do to a person is dare to offend them. Learn to live life without having to tip toe around everything in the name of things that happened hundreds of years ago. I don't care if you listen to me. I'm sure as hell not changing myself to satisfy your status quo. It seems like you run yourself ragged to be good for other people. This can't be good for being true to yourself. Privilege is a mechanism to make people stagnant. It force everyone to be miserable little drones to a greater hierarchy. Stop being a slave to PC bullshit and I swear you'll be happier with yourself and be able to see others a lot better. But again, don't listen to me, but in the same breath don't think for a second you'll be able to change me either. It's is because you focus so much on all of that victimhood that you resent a lot of this world.
read up on race theory, feminist theory, and logic. check out the histories of colonized countries from around the world. this is all available online. evaluate your posts and understand how there is no one action results in an equal action, or opposite reaction. i'm trying to become more aware of my privileges, some of which you probably don't posses. it'll change you, people will listen.

because it's the world we live in. Where it doesn't matter in the least what you do and how you act. If you are part of any group you are a slave to the status quo that the media and the public have stereotyped that group to be. Sexism is rampant and so is reverse sexism. For every action there will always be an equal and opposite reaction. Everyone is effected by the cult of minority whether you try to fight it or hide from it. It's you vs. me and always will be until we finally decide that it's not worth the time to bunch everyone up against one another. With everything someone is making a profit off of pain and misery of others. As long as you light a candle to the cult of minority you will never be free, Anon. You will always feel like you are being cheated by someone and that person or group you feel cheated by is the group that the people who really do own you want you to believe is controlling you. It's a vicious cycle of deception and hatred.
if you don't care, why do you continue responding? why dedicate page after page to this? move on. if you're not willing to take the journey in actually getting to know perspectives from other voices, that's fine. no one really cares about what you have to say. if and when the time comes that you would like to begin exploring other paradigms, i can assure you that what you have to say will be heard by a greater audience. until then, all that you've devoted your time to is just static that people don't care about. it's not a one way street friend, it's about listening and critically evaluating your position with other people's views, adjusting your own views, and expressing your views... and then people will take your statements and attempt to apply them to real life... from there, who knows what's next. the fixing won't come from them, it begins within you.
