I am so tired of the United Kingdom. We have reached a point where we are bending over backwards to protect the rights of criminals, whilst the rest of us are forgotten about. Take for example, the recent case of a man murdered in a supermarket. Some man cut in front of a female in a supermarket queue - so her boyfriend beat him to death in the supermarket... only to find his girlfriend had pointed out the wrong man. So he then went after the cutter... This killer got four years. That's it, just four years for viciously robbing a man of his life, simply because this animal thought this guy had cut in line. What kind of Justice system do we operate under? Criminals rights seem more important than anyone elses'. To my mind it condones crime - I've often wondered why our society is falling apart. Why murder, rape and beatings seem to be more and more common. The answer - because our system allows it by giving out no real punishment. I don't know. Really the best thing to do would be issue the law abiding public with baseball bats, and we could dish out the punishments.
