what i want.

this is what i want... (courtest of YM.com..tehe) "It was a Thursday night and I had just found out that my parents were splitting up. I was devastated and cried for hours. I called my boyfriend, but he was at the movies with his brother. The next day at school I was extremely quiet and didn't say anything about my parents. I had a basketball game that night, and when I got home there was a teddy bear on the porch holding a single long-stemmed rose and a card. Inside the card was a handwritten poem that said that the next time I was sad and he wasn't there to hold me, to hug the teddy bear. He made a point to tell me how much he loved me and that he did notice that I wasn't okay that day at school." "The guy I had a crush on was in my English Studies class. It was a few weeks before the big winter dance that everyone was looking forward to. One day my crush came in with fortune cookies for the whole class. He handed them out, and I really wasn't hungry, so I just shook my head when he gave me one. He kept insisting that I take one until I finally gave in. I cracked it open and the fortune inside said, "Will you go to the dance with me?" Everyone in the class, including the teacher, knew what he was doing. I was bright red but happy and said yes." "This really hot guy sat next to me in Spanish class, and I would always check him out when he wasn't looking. After a few weeks, I got to know a little more about him and I really liked his personality, not just his good looks. One day when our teacher was just rambling on, he turned to me and said, "Tu eres muy bonita." I was so shocked it took me a few seconds, but I managed a simple "gracias." He asked me for my number and called me the next day. We hung out for a few months, and then he asked me out. He's been my steady boyfriend for six months." --haha 'steady'..ahaha. "I was so sick one day that I had to stay home from school. I went on the computer in the morning to see if any of my friends were online to tell them I wouldn't be there. My friend Chad was on and he asked me if I was going to school. I told him I wasn't feeling well, so I was staying home. I woke up at around 10 o'clock to watch some TV and I heard someone knocking at the door. Chad came in with chicken noodle soup and French-vanilla cappuccinos. I was so surprised that I forgot about my red nose and awful cough. Later on that day, he asked me out and we've been together ever since." "My boyfriend is the lead singer and guitarist in a band. One night for my birthday, he blindfolded me and drove me to a nearby park, where he had a picnic table set up with candles and roses — the whole nine yards! He took off the blindfold and sat me down on one of the benches. He pulled out his guitar and sang a song he had written for me! It was so sweet that I had tears in my eyes! Next month will be our six-month anniversary." "The guy I liked was a great musician and most of our conversations were about music. I had burned him a couple CDs and he promised that he'd burn me some, too. About five months had passed and he still hadn't burned the Beatles CD that he said he would. Starting to feel let down, I asked him about it and he told me to wait a few more weeks. A month later he finally handed me the CD, and I happily brought it back home. Later on that night he asked me if I had listened to it yet. I turned on the CD, and it turns out that it wasn't the Beatles at all. It was a collection of love songs that he had written about me, and in the final song he asked me out. Of course, I said yes; we've been together ever since." "My family had been planning a Caribbean cruise for months and I was excited to spend my spring break getting a tan and meeting new people. Shortly before we left, I started dating a great guy. I was afraid to leave him for the week because I thought he would change his mind about dating me or forget about me. I had a great time on the cruise, but I missed him since I didn't get to talk to him. When I got home I started crying as soon as I saw my room — he had covered it with three dozen red and pink roses and left me a note that said, "I couldn't stop thinking about you all week. I love you." It was the sweetest thing anyone has ever done for me,and we're still together to this day." "My boyfriend and I were truly in love, which we always told each other. But he never said he loved me in front of his friends. I asked him about this and he told me that it was embarrassing to say that around them. So we got in a big fight over it. That night some of my girlfriends took me to a movie to cheer me up. About five minutes after the movie started, the screen went blank and the lights came on. There, at the front of the theater, stood my boyfriend! In front of the whole theater, he yelled that he loved me. We have been together ever since." there were about a billion more, but i figured that was enough. that is what i want, someone to care about me enough to do something just to hold on to me. like, i want to feel important to someone. i know..i'm gonna get a ton of notes that say..'tam, you will find the right guy for u one day..' blah blah blah, well i'm tired of waiting, i want it nooww. i know, greedy. but...it's not asking a lot..it's all i really want. i want to feel like i'm cared about. like, i want someone to think about me for no reason at all, and to say...'wow that girl. She's just- Amazing.' (i stole that from someones diary..and i just like that, it has nothing to do with the person who said it!) i just want some loove.
