Sam's Entry/ My Chapter

Sam Johnson was my best friend. In fact, she and I were closer than friends. It was more like we were family. However, as if it was too good to be true, our relationship flopped. But Sam is exactly the kind of friend we all hope to find. Sam and I met in a French class that we both happened to be taking. I wasn't too sure about this girl. She was way bubbly and all we ever seemed to do in that class was laugh. Even when we found out that everyone was basically failing. It was truly something interesting. For some reason, we just clicked. Eventually, we were hanging out after class. We were two peas in a pod. When she and I were together there was never a dull moment. Either we were shooting of jokes at one another or we were laughing at the geeky kids on xbox live. I never really knew what to expect when we were hanging out. And then the most exciting moments was when our group got together. There were seven of us in all. But most of the time there were only five of us. However, when we all got together was when the laughs started rolling in. We would sit together and just laugh. Now the best thing was the fact that Sam brought all of us together. She was basically our ring leader. I know she didn't like it, but what she didn't know was the fact that none of us could put together anything like the times we had. She was the glue that held all of us together. For that, Sam I thank you. I considered her more than a friend. She was my sister. Sam was there for me. I was there for her. Sam and I picked each other up. We helped each other laugh away our problems. She helped me to realize that my girlfriend was holding me down. When I ended my year long relationship, I knew who would have my back. I knew that Sam would listen and help me. And Sam basically held me up. She told me that I could hang out at her house. So I did. I stayed at Sam's and it was a home away from home. I was like I could just go with Sam and she would take away all my problems. I came to realize that I needed Sam. I found that I missed her. In fact, I still miss her. So, Sam Johnson is the friend that I have looked for. Today, Sam and I aren't as close as we once were. But I hope with this that will change. I miss you Sam.
