TRACK MEET TODAY. mmmmhmmm.
Well I guess I did alright. I tripped twice on the 100. Which REALLY sucks. cause the 100 is so short, there's not enough time to make up for dumb mistakes like that. I don't remember what my time was. It sucked A LOT. it was like.. 16 something. yeah.
The 400 was gay. Cause I don't like the 400 to begin with. I got like 1:27 I guess. Which I know I could do WAYY better than that. But that was just as good as I could do today. So that's okay. Plus I have my allergies starting up. And they like to make my throat close up on the second turn of the 400, uh huh. So that was fun. But then hearing Mr. Weisgold's "baby steps" speech again cheered me up haha I'm not even being sarcastic.
And then Collin.. who's a freaking BEAST on the track.. he cheered me up too =) cause we made this deal that if I won he would give me a hug. And he came over to me after the 400 and was like "did you win anything?" and I was like "psh no." and then he was like "well that's okay, I'll give you a hug anyway." so I was like aw yay =) haha he's a sweetie. Despite the fact that he seems to get some sort of enjoyment out of telling me to be quiet ALL THE TIME! haha
Yeah and then the 200. Which was kinda weird, cause I've never run the 200 before, so it was a new thing. I didn't start with blocks cause that was what messed me up on the 100 in the first place. But I ran it well. I think my time was like 34.5 so that's pretty good for first meet and first time ever doing that event. I kept up with everybody for the most part. It's the turns that kinda mess me up though, so I need to work on that, mhm.
But yeah. That's all I got for today, folks! =)
