the fabric of our lives, dawg. i miss grant. so much. man, that's a story in its own right. i first met Sarah in 7th grade. she was by far the funniest person i'd ever met. ever. she sat behind me in 3rd period art. i sat with this kid, Sam Collins (Mitch), and she sat with Emilie DiSanza. Tony Bonk sat in front of me. and somewhere, Ben Lord floated around the class. anyway. Sarah would just, rock my figurative world with hilarity. i loved it. she had awesome black hair (it's actually really really really dark brown) she's what is called "black irish." and i remember a joke she told me. i asked, "have you ever seen somebody roll a joint?" she said" yes, i call him daddy." and it was funny. it was obviously a joke. i helped paint her room, multiple times. we stayed up talking on the phone for hours upon hours...6, 8-whatever. we stayed up playing monopoly one time...till like, 4 am...that summer after 8th grade, there were only about 4 days i didn't see her. we had so many plans. living in boston. driving miatas. haha. i mean, we were going places. i was going to make movies, and she was going to write them. she was an awesome poet. . .so much to write about. our Notebooks..composition notebooks, filled. backandforth notes. pictures in them. and the one fight i believe we ever had. taco tuesdays. they're tearing that place down, you know- Mexico Grande. this is kinda sad-more later.
