It's true! It's so freaking horrible! :( Jessie killed himself November 8th! The night before everyone found out the devasting news. I was sitting in science writing Danielle her 5 page letter she wanted...and right as i finished. The principal came on the intercom and said the teachers had an announcement to read. Then Mrs. Plihal read a sheet of paper that said something like "We regret to inform you that Jessie Altwine was found dead this morning in his room, the officials think it was suicide. That's all that we can tell you at this moment" Everyone was so shocked to hear it we all couldn't believe it! It was mortifying! It's too hard to believe his funeral's in elm creek...you should've seen the look on Whitney's face (his girlfriend)It was so sad! The whole school was silent for a few hours. People who couldn't take being in their classrooms came into the media center...it was packed. Even tho he was in Lincoln he used to live here and he didn't want to move and he came down every weekend to visit us! We weren't the best of friends...but a few years ago...it was different ya know and that memory of always being there for eachother...like the time he was doing a paper route and got a flat tire...we told him to put taffy in it and he bought taffy...that blew out when he tried airing it up, and then he spent all his money on a roll of duct tape, and taped it around the tire. Then he couldn't even get the air into so i called mom and she helped him finish the paper route. It was great. Rest In Peace Jessie we all love you! Love and Butterflies. Riah Lee :( :((
