Emo
A Divergence from the Early 90s Grunge Scene
We've seen t-shirts and jeans before; Kobain was known to rock the look back in the day. And if youre looking for something to dance to, youre in the wrong place.
The i'm-too-drunk-to-speak swagger.
The metro-sexual 1,2 step.
The "fitted" jeans and old band shirt.
we've all seen an emo boy sing.
Fortunately not all of you have suffered through a live show. The energy radiating through the crowd is comparable possibly to that of a slug.
Slugs. Whichever violent way you think about it (slugfest punchout v. stray fast as light bullets) you'll be wanting them to fly after an experience like that.
Its not a lack of energy on the part of the musicians (god knows it takes some sugar to do those almost hardcore moves), its a lack of correct expression. You just shouldn't speak of every experience with tears in your voice.
