Hello there!
Ok. Well theres a lot to talk about since I have not had the chance to come and use the computer with internet. Your entry was cute. So heres an update to life:
Well, first things first. I did have lots of fun bowling with you and Diego. I know Stephen would have had lots of fun going too but he had to be studious and take the SAT II the next day. Whatever, his loss. I was really tired and felt like I was getting sick. (sucks!) Well, thankfully that weekend I got sleep (of course contrasting my week to come.)
Well what can I say about that week. That week was a living you know what. (Did I mention I hate a)not getting sleep b) research papers?) Thanks for letting Wes come over and use your computer with me to do the research paper. (Yeah, to be concluded…..never let us work together if we actually have to get work, a significant amount, done. lol.) It was kinda weird having him here with your mom and Pauline. Gosh…...But I guess that was easily overlooked. Btw, future reference, some people (higher authority, you know who..) don’t know about my mid night excursions to his house to work on the paper and math. (wow reading that sounds kinda interesting but its in purest thought really.) So to be concluded keep that on the DL for now.
The Divercity Project of Jamies was really cute. I had lots of fun!! Also, you can add that as service hours too! Even better. The kids there were so cute and I hope they had fun. (from horns to toes….lol) I had that song stuck in my head for a while after we left there. I loved how those twins liked to sit in my lap. They were so cute. Driving to try and find the NHS picnic was fun too. Future Reference Double Tree is South of Shea!! (and we just some how missed it.) Sorry if we got you into any troubles with your momma.
Wow! I love the whole salad analogy thingy you got there. Its cute! Well I would have to agree that seeing old turkey and dressing in the fridge form the last couple of months is sickening. So, only naturally, you would throw it away. Plus, in the drawer just below the shelf where you found the turkey and dressing, you find the lime, lemon, and, in a separate baggie of course, the walnuts. (As separate as possible) Now, the good thing is that when you come over to look in the fridge you see the new fresh lime, now that the turkey and dressing are out of the picture. Unfortunately, I see my favorite food of all time, walnuts in their own baggie away from the others. (i.e. kinda like two different worlds.) Well I know that things get stale and there is a time too to throw them away, its kinda hard to take your most beloved walnut across the kitchen and dump it in the trash. Lemons are special in their own ways too. Quite intriguing and fun in themselves also. So, I stand in front of the fridge and poner “to pick the old love of walnuts or pick the new intriguing taste of lemons.†Now if I knew the answer to that I would be in the fast food lane or something now wouldn’t I? I love salads!!
Going to the concert thingy with Wes was lots of fun. I have known him since 5th grade and went over early to help him with math hw. We did some math homework and ate dinner with his mom and dad. They both are cute and very funny! I almost choked on my sausage looking hot dog thing that I was eating. But it turned out to be fun. Yani (sp?) was amazing!! His band (more like full orchestra) members were great!!!!! They had different instrumental solos during the show and I loved it. I saw this guy who looked like he was Spanish rock out on a HARP!! It was the coolest thing ever!!! Wes and I also saw the drummer rock out too. Which I know was his favorite b/c he wants to be a drummer. Anywhos, got back to his house and ate carrot cake (YUMMY!!!……but bad to eat at like 11..sheesh) We actually ended up talking more and got some (sufficient amount) of hw done. Then I ended up leaving his house at like 2:30 AM. ……ahhh….no sleep for me.. 1.5 hrs to be exact. I felt bad for him b/c he had to be at marching bad in like 2 hrs. after I left. Poor kid. Anyways, that night was quite fun.
Other than those things mentioned, lifes going well. Senior year rocks as usual. Minus the reports and lack of sleep. Oh well. Take the good things in with the bad I guess. Life is so short and I have really come to realize that. I am 18 now!! It is crazy. My goal for this next year is to control my life more and not live passively. Taking time out to do things with my sisters, good old friends, and family. Parks, dancing and watch a sunset. These things are good.
Sleep well,
Audra*
