Friday came really quickly. The teachers’ had a bunch of meetings going on so we got the day off from school. I woke up at around 8:30 and I couldn’t get back to sleep, so I got up and went downstairs. Anna was already awake. She had a plate of pancakes in front of her. Janine had already left for work and Keera was still in bed. “Hey Hilary, do you want to run over to the drug store and get some hair die with me. I want to put some more streaks in my hair. You should put some highlights in too.” Anna asked. “Sure Anna I would love too.” My mom never ever let me put streaks in my hair. I got in shit when I died it black at Kit’s house. I ran upstairs and got dressed. Anna left a note for Keera saying where we were and we walked to the drug store. We got there and I saw a familiar car in the parking lot. It was my mothers. I didn’t say anything to Anna about it though. We walked through the sliding doors and too the hair die section. “Hilary…Is that your mom over there?” Anna whispered and pointed to a lady at the prescription desk. I nodded my head. It had been about a month since I left my moms house. She turned around and saw Anna. She started walking over to us. I ran into the next section. “Anna is that you?” my mom asked Anna. “Uh… hi Ms. Faro” she said in return. “Anna have you seen Hilary lately?” Anna couldn’t lie that was one flaw about her. She could never lie about anything. “Ms. Faro when you kicked her out, she came to my house…” Anna said nervously. “She left a week ago…I haven’t seen her since then!” “Oh… yes Anna dear if you see her tell her I am looking for her” my mom said in shock and she walked out of the store. “Wow that was scary!” I said while coming out from behind a pile of boxes. “Yah let’s get out of here” Anna had her hands full of different hair dies. She paid for them and we walked out of the store. There were two bags full of hair die. We walked home and both of us had showers. Anna was the artist she loved anything to do with colour. She was going to surprise me with what colours she was going to put in. She finished putting the die in washed my hair and dried it. “Go look in the mirror miss beautiful” She said laughing. I looked in the mirror and there were hot pink chunks everywhere. It looked so good. “Wow Anna it looks great, thank you so much!” I said and I gave her a big hug. Time had gone really quickly and there was two hours until the party so I decided to get ready. I put on a black mini-skirt and a lime green halter top. I put my makeup on. Anna came out of the bathroom and she had a rainbow of colours in her hair. I heard a knock on the door Keera answered it. It was Robbie “He Robbie you’re early…” I said from the top of the stairs. “ I know,” he said laughing. I walked downstairs, grabbed my shoes and walked out the door “See you at the party guys!” I yelled back to Keera and Anna. Robbie put his arm around me “You look great Hilary…” he said. He was real nervous. “You look great too Robbie,” I said back. He was wearing a red Hurley shirt and beige cargo shorts and his skate shoes as usual. He led me to his car. It was a black BMW m3. “Sick Car!” I screamed. I had never ridden in such a nice car. “Thanks it was my 16th birthday present.” He answered. I got in and Robbie started the car. We drove to the party. He opened the door for me and took my hand “Wow I feel like a modern Cinderella!” I exclaimed. He just laughed. He knocked on the door and Landon answered “Hey Rob… and I guessing you two are officially an item eh Hilary. There is a bedroom upstairs that might do you two some good!” Landon joked, “Shut up Landon” I laughed and so did Robbie. I had to go pee real bad so I went to find the bathroom. I walked up the stairs and saw someone up there that I didn’t want to see… *chapter 7 will be here soon
