*Chapter 30*

About two months passed and we finally had the wedding we wanted. It was beautiful. The actual wedding was on December 9. My dress was a long white strapless gown and Janine, Keera, Anna, and Kit were my bridesmaids. Yes Kit, she flew in all the way from Vancouver to my wedding. Alexia was the flower girl and Robbie’s Mom held little Daphnee. After we said our vows Robbie put this biggest ring I had ever seen on my left finger. It was a large circular diamond and a platinum band. “You may now kiss your bride! said the priest. I had been waiting for this moment my entire life. I put my arms around Robbie and we shared the sweetest kiss we had ever shared. The guests (or you could say all of Robbie’s family) clapped and we took our first walk as Husband and Wife. The reception was beautiful. We had dinner at Robbie’s uncle’s yacht club and we didn’t have to spend a dime. Then Anna asked the DJ to play “Dare you to move by Switchfoot for our first dance. Anna knew that it was my favourite song. “Welcome to the planet, Welcome to existence, everyone’s here, everybody is watching you now, everybody waits for you now, what happens next, I dare you to move… The song went on as I stared into Robbie’s big blue eyes. Right then I knew I would never ever have to worry about being alone again…
