*Chapter 2*

I was completely depressed when the last week of summer was over. I lay in my bed letting out many different groans as my alarm rang promptly at 6:30. Daphnee was already screaming from her crib and Robbie just lay beside me chuckling at my disgust for mornings. "Here we go again..." Robbie got out of bed and picked up Daphnee and took her downstairs. I dragged my tired body out of bed and into the shower. The warm water hit my skin and I let out a small smile... the only good thing about mornings, was the shower. I washed my hair and hopped out. I almost fell back in when I saw Robbie standing at the sink brushing his teeth. "Need this?" laughed Robbie as he handed me my large fluffy towel. I ran into my bedroom and pulled on some black pants and a white Hollister t-shirt. I was in no mood to try that morning. I walked into the bathroom, brushed my hair not even bother to dry it, and brushed my teeth. Looking in the mirror I remembered what I looked like a year ago. Black liner covered eyes and red lips with gloss and short black hair with whatever colour streaks Anna decided to put in my hair. All I saw when I looked in the mirror; was my natural colour hair since the dye had grew out and a natural face. After I had Daphnee I didn't wear much makeup. I was never in the mood to put it on or there was no point since I wasn't going to be going out. I got an urge to put something on so I grabbed my eyeliner and gloss and applied them with little care. I smiled at my reflection and walked downstairs. Robbie was at the table eating his usual, coco puffs with chocolate milk and orange juice, Daphnee was in her high chair throwing her Cheerios everywhere, Janine was reading the paper, Anna was cutting up a piece of fabric probably for another outfit she was making and Keera I suspected was still in bed. Robbie's 13 year old sister Alexia walked down from her room looking like a little whore as usual and Robbie's mom had already left for work. After Robbie's dad left, Alexia and Robbie's mom moved in with us. Alexia and I did not get along very well. "Hil, it's eight we should get going." said Robbie as he picked up his back pack from the floor. "You have a fun time with Aunty Janine while I'm at school." I said in my babyish voice as I played with Daphnee's fingers. Alexia looked at me like I was crazy and Janine flashed me a smile. "Bye guys." Robbie and I said in sync as we walked out the door.
