vacation = relaxation?

vacations are pointless in my opinion unless you are going with a person/people that you can actually stand to be around for longer than 1 day. I left on the 18th for Portland, OR. I went with my parents, 2 little sisters, and Taylor. My parents decided to take the scenic route which ended up taking 3 days in the car (which would've lasted a lot longer if we hadn't cut over to an "actual highway"). It was hell. My parents fought, my dad and I fought, and Kyla (my youngest sister) cried about absolutely everything. The car was extremely uncomfortable and my ass has now taken the form of the seats in my dad's van. I finally started to have fun once we finally got there. I basically just tried to avoid my family as much as possible.. which ended up sucking because i didn't end up getting to spend that much time with Jerm and Cory. I spent like 6 days there before we had to get back in the car and go home. The day after i got home i had to go to school in the morning to tell them i wouldn't be back for second semester of summer school.. and then i had to go to Taylor's so i could leave with her and her family to Arizona. I was stressed. My parents were driving me insane..my cell phone broke.. and it was hot. There was some crying.. and some freaking out.. but then i ended up being ok. I just needed to go home and sleep in my own bed and talk to Britian who i missed soooo much! What i don't understand about vacation is that why the hell would you want to go on a "vacation".. with people you can't stand?! i mean seriously.. that is not relaxing at all.
