Happy Easter: the Sequel

This is what I did today, so read it and comment me and say "Hey Gretchen, you're awesome." Okay, so I woke up this morning about an hour before Ken, so I went up into his computer room and typed the last entryslashdrew the last entry's picture. He finally woek up so I went downstairs and did an easter egg hunt with him, because I'm oh-so-mature and absolutely love that kind of stuff. I ended up finding all of mine approximately twenty minutes before he finished findig his, so that made me feel good. Then we went downstairs and played darts with Katilyn, and I had them both beat by about 21 points in Full Cricket, which is a huge advantage . I learned how to play darts from my uncle Pete, who's this crazy bar darts champion, so I'm actually pretty good and usually never lose, ever. But I got to the Bull at the end and just couldn't seem to get three, so ken eventually caught up and actually beat me. Then I felt bad. Katilyn finished on her Elevens...bahaha. After that, Ken's entire family came over, and we all had Easter lunch while watching Kill Bill Vol. 1, which I thought was a kind of weird combination, but whatev. After lunch, we went downstairs and played another round of darts, then Ken's mom & dad took me home because they didn't want Ken leaving for some reason. I got home, showered, wrapped up Sam's Björk CD, and walked over there. But Sam wasn't home, so I left the CD in front of the porch door and walked to Calvin's. Calvin wasn't home either, but I talked to Doe for a while and grabbed my Dangerous Lives of Altar Boys DVD. I started walking back home, and so I was all "Ho-hum, I'm walking home, blah blah blah..." and then someone starts honking at me like crazy, so I look up and there's Jesse and Calvin coming back from visiting Other Jesse in the hospital (he apparently got really bad salmonella from the chicken quesadillas at school). So I walked over to the window and talked to Jesse and Calvin for a while, and they were going back to Calvin's, so I hopped in and went with them. Calvin and I played Splashdown, and Jesse went to work totally high after telling me about the car accident he and Calvin had just been in on their way back from the h to the ospital. Apparently, they were at a gas station, and Jesse got gas, then he tried to back out and hit the lady behind him that he hadn't seen. There was about $500 in damage to her car, but nothing to his. She didn't want to charge him for anything, so he ust drove away, and now all is well. Anyway, I hung out at Calvin's for a while, then Nate came over, and we went down in Calvin's basement for a while and skated the ramp (actually Calvin skated, I wheelchaired, Nate played with a hockey stick, and the Craig kid that came after a while skated too). Then Sam came over, wearing both the Dropkick Murphys shirt and Rob Zombie-style cowboy hat that I had picked out for him for Easter (not to mention it was the same DKM shirt that I'm wearing today). Nate and Calvin decided they wanted to play hockey, so we went to my house (I rode in the wheelchair, Calvin pushed me) to get more sticks and a net, but I couldn't find my old net, so we just got crates. (I also got my old old old roller blades and got all into the whole hockey thing. Sadly, the roller blades are now approximately seven bajillion sizes too small and have no padding or arches, so I have one disgusting blister on my left arch and two gross cuts in my legs where the tops cut in.) Then we rode to the park and played hockey on the basketball court, then played basketball, and then I came home wearing calvin's Lakais, because there was no way I was wearing my roller blades home. Oh yes, and I proved that the only shots I can ever make in basketball are three-pointers. I can make a really far shot almost every time, but anything within the bucket is so not going in the hoop. Anyway I a no whome, typing this, and now Easter dinner (lamb, yummmm) is ready, so I'm going to go eat that, followed by oodles of homeworkorization. I am so going to be fatter than usual tomorrow. Dayum. Out: Gretchen
