Feeling: fine
First step: Montreal trip was fun but kind of sucked. Only an hour of free time...so Annika, Andrea, Alisa, andddd Anna (whoa, all A's, kind of weird) and I all just went to the Urban Outfitters on St. Catherine's. There was a parade going on so it was quite difficult to get through, but oh well. Bright Eyes: Oh myyyyy it was so incredibly good. Magic Numbers was the first opening band, and Marggi and I both liked them a lot (oh yeah, before the show Marggi and I walked around Exchange/Market Street in Portland for FIVE HOURSSSS. AHHHHHH. I bought fingerless gloves and some Mukluks for Mom). Then Feist played. It was like...Jeff Buckley meets Björk. For the last Feist song Conor & the band came out and he danced along and did a little duet and it was wonderful. Then they alllll cleared the stage and out came a lady with a harp, and she did her little harp intro, which then became Sunrise, Sunset. Ohhhhh. So goooooood. Among his two-hour set, he played The Calendar Hung Itself, Falling Out of Love at This Volume, and Nothing Gets Crossed Out, and finished with Let's Not Shit Ourselves. And didn't played Lover I Don't Have to Love! I was so happy. I promise there will be many pictures soon, including those from the toy store Marggs and I found. VONDAHFUL DAHLINK. After the show we drove to/stayed the night at Annette's. We got her a card and a grapefruit-scented candle as a token of our appreciation. Drove back Monday, had to go to school for what was left (blech), then came home and slept for approximately the rest of my life. Any interesting news after thaaaaat...Oh, uhhhhm. I found out what I was nominated for for senior superlatives, so that's kind of fun. Friendliest, Most All-Around, Loudest, Most Artistic, and possibly something else? I'm not sure. But yeah, that's nice. And Thanksgiving with the DiStefanos was wonderful, as staying at their house always is. I love my family so much. Their indoor pool and the bounce house in the basement is also nice, hah. But they are the absolute nicest people in the world and I love to visit them. The end.
