you're a loser, and that's all you're ever gonna be.

The title is not, of course, directed toward any of you. They are simply lyrics from the band Dugen, which put on a show I went to with Sam and his mom and Jacob and James yesterday. Sam's brother, Gabe, is the drummer. So I've got connections, yo. Off the heezie fo' sheezie, I'm the beesie's kneesies. Or somethingish. I brought the cam to the corder to the show so I could fix Dugen up with a promotional video of sorts. At one point I was on my back in front of the stage, and before the song started, Chris (the lead singer) looked down and goes "...Hi Gretchen..." all confused and stuff, and it was wicked funny. Unfortunately, I was still adjusting my positioning and juxtapositioning at the time, and hadn't been recording when he said it. I was very sad. After my battery died, I went and sold merch with Sam. For the last song, Sam and Jacob & James and I had a mosh pit. Just the four of us. It was wicked funny. Especially when Sam fell, and then I pushed James over him. Hahaha. I laughed a lot. Last night Sam and I stayed at Gabe's. We got there before him and the other guys, so we ordered pizza and made tea. The night was very nice. I stayed up in a room covered in tapestries, drinking tea and listening to conspiracy theory radio. Of course, Gabe was also shouting at the TV screen because the video game he played pissed him off, but I just blocked that out. Today my mom got Sam & I from Gabe's, and we took Sam home then went to find stuff for me to wear to my almost-cousin's wedding. I got a black & white polka dot skirt and a plain black top (I actually wanted pink...odd.) and called it good. And then mom and I went to Ichiban and had ridiculously good sushi. I also had green tea fried icr cream, which I reccommend to anyone that simply exists. Then we went to The Grasshopper Shop, and I bought a poster with about 100 of the best George Bush quotes. Man, that guy is a dumbass to the max. Gah. Now I am home, writing this, listening to The Faint, and eating some Wasabi Peas made by a Japanese company that simply goes by the name "Hapi Snacks". I like them. I leave for Florida on Friday with Ken to visit my grandparents in Madiera Beach. I love that place. Especially the thrift store there. It's called "Beyond the Door" and it is my lovah. I saw The Village with Ken and Katilyn a bit ago. Completely unpredictable. Good work, Shyamalan. The SciFi Channel made him seem soooo creepy with that documentary they made. Ahhhhh. I decided I'm not playing soccer ths year. I'm not any good and I need to focus on my grades. Junior year's a biggie. Okay, I'm done. Out: Gretchen

i absolutely wish you would play soccer again. I unfortunetely will not be allowed to because the world hates me and mom says the school won't let me cause I failed two classes. Don't you wish you were as dumb as me? :o). When will we have out fresh ginger meeting? I'm hoping soon, I miss you much.. though you are in florida.. :o(
I was in a mosh pit. It was with more than three other people, and we were onstage with Andrew WK. Makes your littler, tinier, less important mosh pit seem terrible, huh?
Junior year is big. but I wish I had played a sport. which makes me sad you're giving up socker :(. But you're right, academics are important.
