march 12th 2008 wednesday 5:25 pm today started out pretty good. i made my second favorite breakfast dish- tocino, sinangag, itlog- sweet pork / fried rice / egg. i lounged around for a bit, played ut2k4 with french people, and did another music essay for my online course. when it became sunny, around 12PM, i sat outside on the carpet (to ward off weeds from wriggling their way up to the surface) in my small, dead garden. there is a little tree still alive, but it is pretty much dead in there. the garden is located in the left-hand corner of my backyard and is shaped like an isosceles right triangle. i drew a map of what i want in it by summertime: more stones, perhaps garden "accessories" like a little gnome!, colorful flowers of course, and a vegetable garden in one of the flowerbeds. i have grown sitaw on my super-homemade looking trellis before. i want this summer to be productive. semi-upbeat playlist for the day- twee, indie pop, synths, afro-pop, handclaps, and a few indescribable descriptions: animal collective "fireworks" black kids "hit the heartbreaks" architecture in helsinki "heart it races" joe lean & the jing jang jong "lonley buoy" voxtrot "mothers sisters daughters & wives" vampire weekend "cape cod kwassa kwassa"

yes! always. sometimes i will make 1 cup of rice in my rice cooker, take the removable compartment with me into the living room, scoop out rice with my hands, shape into balls, and roll them in white sugar + sesame seeds while watching television.
