august 19th 2008 tuesday 11:19 pm About an hour ago I picked up my black AA deep-v tee that was laying haphazardly across my computer's printer. I tossed it onto the counter in my bathroom and started brushing my teeth. I was planning on wearing it to school tomorrow since it is super comfortable, but then I remembered how it got placed / thrown onto my printer. I wore it Saturday. Yes, I am one of those people that wears a shirt then re-wears it a few days later without washing it again. I do the same thing with my jeans, too. I have only six pairs, but I wear one for weeks on end before washing them. My mom would probably disagree with this. My ex-boyfriend who is "into denim" buys Julian Red or other "great but why the fuck would I pay that much" type jeans. He says that not washing them adds character and all this other "cool" stuff. Denim snobs are crazy, but I guess the same goes for sneaker heads or anyone else obsessed with a single item. Anyways, on Saturday I hung out with people and totally got conned into watching Tropic Thunder. After it was done I declared that I needed a drink. Somewhere along the night after drinking almost every alcohol in the house, including my first pina colada which I do not enjoy that much, my friend thought it would be funny if he kissed me with a mouthful of beer. I hate beer and I am pretty sure he knows this. It's probably the only alcoholic beverage I will not drink. Oh, and I guess pina coladas got added to that list. Sadly, some of it got into my mouth, but most of it spilled down onto my shirt :( I went home that night with a semi-soaked beer smelling shirt. After I finished brushing my teeth tonight I took the shirt and sniffed it. It still smelled like beer. I threw it into the washer with underwear and towels plus my jeans (gasp! Yeah, a few weeks of non-stop wear are up. The denim needed to be washed sooner or later.) and it's tumbling in the dryer about to be fresh and clean again. I probably won't wash it again for another few wears. Sorry, mom!
