october 27th 2008 monday 5:03 pm my city has been under a freeze warning until tomorrow morning. thank you, cold canadian high pressure area! i went to the library this morning to get cooked: from the streets to the stove, from cocaine to foie gras. i finally got to wear substantial winter clothing. i was freezing just walking from my car to the library, but i love it. i am probably going to make some hot chocolate / cocoa / whatever tonight.

I don't know ya know, the more I see him the sexier he gets haha. I'm studying English & creative writing. It is the best course in the world.

How's the big freeze going?
x
i didnt like either of the people running. i was NOT a mccain supporter. i dont support the war in iraq and i didnt want 4 more years of bush.

and palin really is quite ditzy

but when it comes to choosing the less of two evils - i think mccain was more appropriate.
at least they didn't have homeless people with t-shirts on saying

"vote for MCCAIN - i need the money"

they had them for obama.

small businesses are going to fall under if he does his tax plan and its going to kill the economy he's trying to "change"

he speaks with great words and promises great things. . .but honestly i think he's putting on a great show. i dont believe him and i don't think he deserves it.

i dont want a president who doesnt support the country he's got control of.

sorry.

[thanks for being the only one with a level head though.]
we may be stuck with him and i know that - i'm not trying to change it. and my comments are highly negative but for a reason.

everyone is saying that this man is going to be great for our country. he wont even salute our flag.

he says he wants to get back to america, but what america is and was supposed to be, as highlighted in the constitution, he wants to change. he wants to rewrite it, and he wants to change our national anthem too. . .

and honestly - a big part of his election. . .i hate to say. . .is because he's "black". i dont care what his race is. hell - i'da voted for mlk as president in a heartbeat. but the thing of it is that there ARE people out there who either did or didnt vote for him for that reason. a ton of people i met said they were voting for him to give the black man a chance. come on now. vote for him if he deserves it- not for that. and when someone said they werent - those people would say "it's cuz he's black". sometimes it is but not for me.
Freeze warning? Sack that, it's cold enough over here and we don't have a freeze warning :S

Where abouts in Canada do you live? I've got a few friends over there.

It is cosy, like I say, not the best but it's mine. Ah yes Gordon, my boyfriend has a bit of a man crush on him haha!
