Hey ya'll!! Well, the flight out to the rig took longer than usual, I think the pilots were a bit lost. That's okay, we got here. I got to take a nap for a while before work today, and that totally made a big difference. Boy do we have a mess out here. The rig is going on over 80 hours of downtime, and it isn't going to end anytime soon. We've just had all kinds of troubles getting things lined out and ready to begin the job that we are on now. But that is all okay with me, knowing that I won't be coming back makes it a lot easier to deal with all of the attitudes out here. We have a female onboard, and that kinda eases everyone's nerves, because we all watch our mouths and manners a lot closer. No one really just goes off and explodes on anyone else because we all want to be gentlemen. It's kinda funny, actually, all these rough and tough guys acting nice and wearing their uniforms proper....I was even told to zip up my coveralls all the way (usually I leave it halfway, to keep cool,) because she was here. Well, I think it's going to be a long hitch, counting down the time that I have left, but on the other hand, I won't take things as seriously, so it may work in my favor, too. We'll see. I so love my girl. Sometimes she covers up her emotions, and I don't care for that, but when she is really open with me, lets me know what's going on in her mind and her heart, she says the sweetest things...wow, I'm so lucky. I'm really glad I waited as long as I did, it was definately worth the wait. Well, you kids be good. Don't do anything I wouldn't do.......but if you do, name it after me!!
