Running My Legs Off!!

Feeling: excited
WOW!!! LOL! What a day! It was supposed to be a day off, but - yeah, right! Started off the morning by filling out applications for my passport and visa. Had to deal with that for like an hour, as nothing the U.S. government can be really simple - well, simple enough for me to do without asking questions.....yeah, REALLY simple! Got done with that and went to lunch with a couple of folks from work. Got done there, and needed to get my certified birth certificate for my passport application. Went to the county annex courthouse, no biggie. But due to the storms in Austin, the state internet regestry was down, and I couldn't get what I needed done. GRRR!! So I had to drive to my home county at 2:30 in the afternoon, to make it there by 5, to get copies of my birth certificate. Then, they only took cash!! I couldn't blieve it, they didn't take a card! GRRRRR!!!!! lol. no biggie. Left there, and was fixing to head back to Houston, and decided to visit with an old friend of mine that is a car salesman back home, so I stopped there. After the hugs and stuff, we got down to business. I drove an FX4 4X4 that they had on the lot, but I don't need a 4 wheel drive, so I kept looking and talking. We found what I am looking for at another dealership. The sticker price was like 32K, but I was able to get it down to 20.5K. (A HELL of a deal!) SO, I seriously think that by the end of the week I'll be driving a new Ford supercrew truck. I'm really excited! I think I may even have a lead on a buyer for my S-10! WOO HOO!! Yeah, things look good around here. Alternately, I got my passport and visa photos taken today. I look funny!! My left eye is really obviously more closed than my right eye......like it looks like I'm squinting out of my left eye - hmmmm. Yeah, I'm wierd. I gotta remember everybody that I need to get suvioneers for from the Ukraine. A close friend of mine, on his dad's side, both of his grandparents immigrated from there.....HAVE to remember him! Well, I guess that's all for now, kids, I made a couple of killer hamburger patties, and I need to put one in the fidge since it's cool now. Ya'll take care, and God bless! The Rat

Are you in Houston??? I'm in Houston! =P

-p.s.-

When I took my passport photos, I took a picture like that, too! lol. I was blinking & it looked INSANELY funny. Luckily, I had taken two, one for my passport & one for a visa, also. So luckily for me, I was able to use my good one for my passport. (Thank God! haha.) Lucky thing, too...since they are good for 10 years!
