This has been the best summer of my life! Sure, I had my ups and downs - but that's life. I really don't even know how to ut into words what my summer has been like. There are really no words great enough to describe it. So many doors have been opened in my life by different people, that have never been opened before. Certain people have helped me face a lot of things I've been ignoring and taught me to look deeper than just the surface of life. I had been lying to myself, saying everything was "all good" and settling for less. But this summer, people have helped me see beyond that. They have opened their heart, their home, and their life to me and took me for what I am. Youth Alive (in June) and going to Freedom Baptist Church all summer, has radically changed my life. This whole summer has been a life changing experience and I have grown so much spiritually. I've been able to discover more about myself, and God's will for my life through other's prayers, advice, love and kindness. Unfortunetly, this summer is coming to an end...but the learning and growing experience definetly isn't going to end now. It's only beginning. This school year, is going to be so different from any other year. It's time I rise up as a Christian, and really just walk my talk. It's time I seriously go all out for God. I've seen so many of my friends and family pass away through the past year, I never know when I'm going to lose someone else - or lose the chance to point that one soul towards Jesus...so I have to stop wasting God's time, and do what He's called me to do. I hope everything is going well in all of your lives. Sorry I never update much, or leave notes as much as I once did. More than likely I won't be on much after this week because of school...but I'll be on the weekends. 1 Timothy 4:12 - Stick to it this schoolyear. You've called me to do so much. Please forgive me for ignoring that call, but please help me to rise up and answer it now and do what You've called me to do, and be who You've called me to be. Lord I just ask, that You'll continue to feed the fire within me, and let Your love and kindness, and beautiful Light overflow from the depths of my soul so that others may see how truly wonderful You are. Father God just prepare me to be a missionary on my campus, and that everywhere I go, and everyone I come in contact with I'll not take my eyes off You my precious Lord. Please bless me, and the ministry, so that we can be a blessing to those around us. Help me to stay dedicated, and to carry all You've taught me with me for the rest of my life. Help me to draw near to You, because when I do, You will draw near to me. I just want to be in Your presence Lord, I just want to see Your face. I just want more of You. Father I pray that You would bless me indeed, and enlarge my territory, that Your hand would be with me, and that You would keep me from evil, that I may not cause pain. I ask all of this in Jesus' precious name, Amen!
