Jealousy is a green-eyed monster

Yesterday was Jill's cotilion talent show, and might I just say that I have to say that I believe that Jill put in the most work for her new talent, salsa dancing. She performed and did her talent exceptionally well, and she definetly deserved the compliments that she received. I am very proud of you Jill!!! In other news, I am quite happy with my life right now. You know that saying that jealousy is a green-eyed monster. Well, let me tell you, it truly is I think one absolutely negative thing that can destroy a person. Jazz choir was interesting today. I kind of felt like Mrs. Tutnick definetly over-reacted about jazz choir "screwing around." She feels that jazz choir never truly works and that we don't accomplish anything in her class. When I kind of honestly believe that a lot of it, has to do with the way she is teaching us. Yes, I suppose that today jazz choir had a little fun with a song and may have not have paid full attention to the exact details of a song, but we are high school students, who most of the kids in that class are not going to major in music. Every teacher needs to teach the curriculum, but if the teacher doesn't teach it in a way that the kids don't have fun with it, no one is going to work at. That is just the way that high school kids function. On a brighter note, we are almost done with 3rd quarter. This year is just flying by. Sleep well Peace ~Kris

Was that really a brighter note?
I totally agree with you Kris. Fun and learning should go hand in hand...this year has not been fun at all, and I think we're all a little bit ticked off about it. C'est la vie. no?
Thanks- Your opinion means a great deal to me. I'm definitely considering it after yesterday. But that's a ways down the road. Right now I think I'll just look for a small place in the photo world. : )
PS- Congrats on being Cameo's spotlight senior...
Thank you for that comment, it helped. You are a great person as well. Thanks.
