Be strong and pray for a smoothe sail

So a lot of things have been happening recently. I went up to band camp with the Saguaro band and taught the pit. That was a new experience and hopefully my last as a pit instructor. It was pretty hard to keep your head on straight when you come from a group that can count, focus, and work hard to a group that can't do any of the above. Never-the-less they are still good kids with good intentions, but they just need a new work ethic. Jill and I had our one year anniversary on Saturday. I came over to her house early in the morning and brought her flowers and made her pancakes. We later that night went to Black Angus for dinner followed by a show at Gammage Theatre where we saw Little Shop of Horrors. It was pretty funny and also an easy story line. My uncle crashed his bike so I had to drive up to Payson today to help my aunt take down the camp site that they were staying at. My uncle is fine, but cut up his arm pretty good, and is more angry because he has to relax and he doesn't really know how to do that. I leave for NAU's band camp this Thursday. I hope it will be fun and that I will be able to make the drumline. Travis was able to make ASU's drumline and is center tenor, so I think that I have pretty good shot at making NAU's considering the fact that their marching band is just as bad, if not worse, than ASU's. But then after band camp, school starts. I can honestly say that I am little scared. I am not really sure what to do or bring or anything of the above. I have no idea what I want to do with my life. Well, actually I do, but only like a week at a time. Oh well, I guess I will figure it out eventually. I hope that everyone has enjoyed their summer and that they are excited for school start. Actually I am pretty sure that no one will read this entry because everyone switched to myspace, except for Jill of course, but I guess it will be one way for Jill and I to just always keep in touch. Sleep well Peace ~Kris
