Float Trip Overview

Listening to: Pirate game music
Feeling: exhausted
Well, my first float trip was a success. Lots of fun, and we didn't tip over once. Of course, that's probably because we were linked up with another canoe. =P I met a couple I definitely want to hang out with again sometime. They were fun without being crazy or irresponsible. Of course, they're a bit older, but not too much. It seems I usully get along better with people who are a little older and more mature. I think it also helped that we had something to do rather than just sit there and talk. I don't know why, but it helps me warm up to people if we're actually doing something together. I am very worn out, though. I feel like I could pass out standing up. It must have been the rain, because Travis and Matt did most of the rowing; I just pretended to help. It only rained a little bit most of the day, but at the very end, it poured. It was kind of fun that way; it made things more interesting and challenging. And after a while, we were so wet I really didn't mind anymore...it's not like I was going to get any wetter. When we got back to camp, Trav built a fire (which was so nice cause there was no way I could have done it), and we roasted cheese-filled hotdogs and relaxed. It was wonderful, but Trav's probably right...it could have been fun with a few more people. I just don't like dealing with others when they've had too much to drink, so I tend to avoid that. So I definitely wanna go on another float trip...hopefully with a bit better weather, just cause it would be even more awesome that way. But tonight I'm going to see Brian for the first time in four years. I'm excited, but I hope it's not too weird since it's been so long. I wish I had a bit more energy...I'm having troule just finishing this entry; I don't know how well I'll be able to participate in conversation. *yawn*

It was wonderful to see you again. I have waited way to long to see you. I hope that we can get together many more times. Catch up, tell the tales of our lives. Much more can be said other then over a coffee table (and of course, with something a little better to drink then coffee.) Take care my friend, and safe travels when you move.

*dances* I was right! You had fun! Hahaha! :P Anyways...remind me to call Matt and Lacy again so we can keep in touch with them. Also pester me to no end to go see Brian and Cullen and make them entertain us with the glory that is Columbia and stuff. *smiles* Still on a coffe buzz at the moment...and yes, the Pirate game is running but paused. *kiss* love you hun.
