Listening to: Trapt - Headstrong
Feeling: accomplished
Wow. The first track practice was today, and boy was that a wake up call for how out of shape I am.
Coach said to go outside and run 2 laps (half a mile). So I thought, "Alright, I can do this." I was pretty dead afterwards, not because of the running as much as my lungs feeling like ice had spiked through them. Then five minutes after everybody was done, she just shrugged and said "Go run a mile" like it was nothin'. I was thinkin' "WHOA." We had the option of going to the weight room afterwards, but we didn't have to. Audrey wanted to go see her boyfriend so we decided not to.
It was a pretty easy day in comparison to what's coming to me, and it completely wore me out. I'm proud though; I didn't stop to walk once. Yay! ^.^
By the way, Mrs. Kim Rohr (or Mrs. Kim Ho Ho as Trisha calls her, lol) is getting on my nerves lately. She's just about to get on my LAST nerve. I have to work at the spagetti supper tomorrow for the BAND, not the colorguard, between track and the senior night game because for all she knows I was sick the day of a colorguard fundraiser. (I wasn't though, haha.) I guess I'm getting what I deserve but it's just her personality and the way she is that irks me. I know something that will be a pain in the ass is coming every time I have to come within speaking distance of her, and she'll never shut up and let me go. That is really making me reconsider doing colorguard next year, because I am SICK OF HER. SIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIICK OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOF HHHHHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEER..... *smiles innocently* I believe that's a good place to stop with that, tee hee.
Anyway, I think I'm going to go. Rather tired for a little past 8 (I wonder why, har dee har har). See you laters, gators.
