no age's set saturday night was so good.
i traveled 3.5 hours to another city with my friend james to go see them. i've never seen so many fucking holly readers in one room! my friend really enjoyed soft circle, which is pretty much made up of one guy that plays all the instruments. i wasn't that impressed with titus andronicus, but they do put on a good show. as they were playing this girl next to us told her friend nearby, "they got rated like a fuckin' 9 on pitchfork!" which further proves my perception of bands vs. pitchfork's is way off which further shows why i don't read their reviews these days ;/ the crowd seemed to be pleased with them. anyways, i was there for no age. i thought their nouns lp was brilliant and i have wanted to see them live ever since it released. i mean, it's not super amazing, but it's pretty good if you're in a certain mood.
after the show we stopped by my sister's apartment because she goes to college over there. we took a one hour nap then ate some leftover cheese pizza that was in my sister's refrigerator before getting on the road again. i got back over here around 6 am, went to bed, woke up, and went to work.
and another more potent harvest branded with a fiery phoenix.
pitchfork needs a staff change or to hire better freelancers.
