march 26th 2008 wednesday 8:36 pm l-r: graffiti located on the side of a small grocery store, near a vietnamese restaurant on a dumpster, and full wall graffiti on an abandoned building near korean restaurant l-r: "fucked up" tag, taggers reason? / bk / zero, 2 reason? tags again (big in blue, small in red) all behind a korean restaurant near the full wall graffiti sometimes i wonder what people driving by think when they see i am taking polaroids of graffiti. i have occasionally felt silly when taking photos depending on where the graffiti is located. mostly though i am in alleys, behind businesses, near abandoned places, etc. out of view. sometimes i feel like i am part of this "scene" even though i'm not. i don't partake in graffiti, i just take photos of them. i guess it's the fact that i am there after someone has tagged/vandalized (whatever you want to call it) a spot- just me and my polaroid. i am not there to criticize. it is what it is.

people probably think the same thing of me when I'm extremely close to a plant. I enjoy taking close up pictures of thing. Graffiti is very intriguing to me as well, i once saw a train do by with nothing but graffiti on the side. It amazed me.
the cover of that NG and the picture you took of your friend are really interestingly similar. just i guess, their attitudes seem similar. one (your friend) looks like she has a bit more confidence but still. i like it. I have a job working in a soil lab. it pays alright but I find I can only weigh out 5.000+/- .004 g samples of dirt for so long by myself before i start wanting to jump out the window.
