Listening to: Hope and Memory- LoTR Soundtrack
Feeling: heartbroken
Today was horrible! Terrible! Oh, sure, English was wonderful as always, and the rest of my day was so-so, but lunch was horrifying. What started out as a joke from me to Layne (Involving Xavier of course). Evolved into an entire perverted Eighteenth birthday planning session. Sorry does not even begin to cover it. Then, in seventh, Layne cried. I felt that my loyal heart was cracking, and nothing could patch it. The word sorry could not save her tears.
You’ll never understand, that some words can never say
Some things can never make the hurt just fade away
Sometimes it’s best to never let them see you cry
Let them think you have the desired emotional high
It’s when those things start painting your heart black
And when those people start asking for some slack
Then you pull out the proverbial gun
Yelling ‘Never again shall I run.’
It’s that ceremonial, emotional bullet
When you figuratively cry out ‘Pull it’
That makes your eyes see nothing but red
Makes your heart feel nothing but dead.
When sunsets turn your song to pray
And all the colors fade to gray
Then let everyone know ‘Don’t bother me’
Because he tried to say sorry
Too true
Too true
My next lifetime?
It’s for you
So, I find that my bold, blunt, over-the-top teasing hurt my best friend. I would kill anyone else who caused her as much pain as I did today…..
Quote Of The Day:
It’s the Dwarves that swim with little hairy women.
Conversation of The Day:
Seth: Why do they call it a Liger?
Layne: I know, really. It isn’t equal.
Seth: Dude, you are right, Lion doesn’t get as much.
Layne: It should be Lioger. I would be so happy if it was.
Seth: Yeah. *looks at me* Do you want to pet my Lioger?
