Listening to: Silence
Feeling: calm
In the place of poison now lays a flower,
Slumped over and weeping in vain.
The forest slows from winter's breath,
He turned to the sun again.
It was gone.
It disappeared.
It was pierced.
It never existed.
He shot up in bed,
Horrified at what he had read...
Dreams,
Trembling in the dark.
Memories,
Flooding into his heart.
The very thing he sought,
Now the one thing he runs apart.
Falling into the orbit of society,
He Ran farther down.
He ran deeper.
He ran faster.
He grew weaker.
He spoke again.
Ages had past where the last parting stump,
Ripped, torn out of the ground.
He weeped.
He screamed.
He passed out.
Fallen fast to sleep.
