Listening to: Fire - Kasabian
Feeling: ready
My blogging has reached a peak. Four in a matter of three day's.
I stopped thinking that people actually care about what I write here a long time ago. So I just ramble on about what tick’s me off, what tick’s me on, and my mundane life.
I love the Jonas Brothers. I often pretend like I do not, but I really honestly do. Maybe they slip crack into the jewel cases, and line the posters with it. I think this is why they’re addicting. Just a theory.
And before anyone asks, or in case some prepubescent youngins are reading this, my favourite Jonas is Kevin. I find him incredibly attractive and oddly sexy.
Why this is, I will never know, but I have the hots for a Jonas.
I think it’s the curly hair and boyish good looks. (Try the fact that he seems to be the most down to earth and genuine one in the whole line up.)
Let’s see, what else in on my mind right now…
I’ve been really anylizing what I listen to lately. To see if I can see any kind of trend in my listening habits. I’ve noticed a couple of trends. Besides my obvious love for NIN, I listen to a lot of New Wave and Electronica. Bands like Franz Ferdinand, Kasabian, MSTRKRFT, Crystal Castles, MGMT, The Dandy Warhols, things like that. It’s odd, because I never found myself to be that…I guess the word I’m looking for is Indie (with out falling victim to stereo typing). I just really have a taste for the odd, and music that is musically intelligent. Most of these bands are a nice balance of both.
I fall victim to terrible, overplayed dance songs and artists every once and again (COUGHjobrosCOUGH). I do listen to other things to. I like 90’s metal like Metallica and Tool, and I adore 80’s synth pop.
I also love Tom Jones, Snoop Dogg, and the Fresh Prince (Don’t forget D.J. Jazzy Jeff).
Hank Fm is going pretty well. About halfway through the internship. I’m not to sure about all this promotions stuff, but I enjoy the On-Air and Copywriting aspects. I wish I had more to say about it, but it is what it is.
It’s finally cooled off outside. I’m pretty certain that it will storm, but until the thunder and lightning start, I am keeping the window open, so it can cool off in here. This is house is like a sauna. It absorbs heat, and then retains it. I hate our landlord for not even attempting to install some sort of cooling system in this house. I’d like to see you live here, you rich, incompetent jerk. Maybe then you’ll try to fix it up and give us some central air. You could at least buy us fans for all the trouble you have given us.
We need to move. Bottom line.
I really, REALLY want JoBro tickets.
