It only takes one glance out the window To remember the summer Which was beautiful And full of love I look up into the clouds And start to daydream Of it would be like If I weren't up here If my hands weren't cold And the line worked as one If my feet weren't cold And wouldn't mind carrying on If my nose wasn't so cold So I could just smell the perfume in the air If my ears weren't so cold So I could fall alseep hearing three mighty words If my eyes weren't glazed over with frost So I could see the beauty shine off you If my heart would start beating again So I could love you with so much more than you even deserve I have not lost any feelings Especially over these past two months But I only wish I could just spend everyday Sitting, standing, or sleeping Right next to you So that life would be complete As well as the love I have for you
