I had an absolutely terrific weekend. Jill came up about 5 on Friday and we were able to go to dinner and go see a movie. We say Corpse Bride, which wasn't a great movie, but not a bad movie either. It's one to go see in theatres, but not one to really go out and look for once it comes out on DVD. Saturday was also a pretty good day as well. It was NAU Band Day, which meant that I was up at 5 in the morning, which isn't exactly my idea of funny especially since it was about 30 degrees outside then. But, other than that it was pretty good, I got to see SHS perform and I of course thought that they did pretty well, but I think that they got a little screwed over with the whole judging situation. Oh well, nothing new there, since it seems to be like that every year. The other cool thing about band day was actually performing with NAU's band. True to my word, I am still unhappy with the drumline up here, but it was still really awesome to get to perform with the whole band because pretty much every high school kid thought that the show was amazing. Today has also been a wonderful day. I was able to sleep in till about 11 o'clock which felt extremely good. I felt so refreshed when I actually started to do things today. Jill left though, which of course made me sad to see her, but excited to be able to see her this Friday and be able to see her sister get married as well. So, all-in-all a pretty good weekend.
