The Thanksgiving Break

Well, here is a break down of my Thanksgiving break as of yet.... Ok, so Tuesday night I couldn't get to sleep, I have had this cold for quite some time and just couldn't seem to get to sleep. I actually fell asleep around 4am on Wednesday and then had to get up at 7 so I could be awake for my chem test at 8:( so I was running on 3 hrs or so of sleep. Then I had to be up the rest of the day as I had a 5 hour drive home to look forward to. I ended up heading out of Dallas around 11:30 and didn't hit all that much traffic, and the traffic I did hit was all moving pretty steadily. I made it to my house around 5:15 and was pretty tired. When my mom and sister got home we went out to eat and I didn't get home until a little after 6:30 or so. I was to have plans with Dawn but she said she was going to be with her other guy friend, so I just gave up on seeing her and was rather sad. She called me around 8 and said that her plans had changed and she was waiting for me to come visit her... that made me happy. I went and visited her for a while and then she said that her and Mr. Right or RightNow, whatever he happiness to be for her, had a fight and she thought she was ready to get out of it all. I assured her that we, the male species, all have bad moments and that I was sure it would all work out fine. Anyhow, she said she was going to a dance at a local club and she wanted me to go. I was rather tired, but I wanted to spend time with her and didn't think I would see her for the rest of my time home, so I went to the dance. We danced one slow song, and about 3 fast dances back to back, and that was all. I kind of got the feeling that she didn't want to dance with me so I didn't push or ask to dance the entire night. I made it home around 1:30am and then talked to my mom and finally made it to bed around 2:30... it was a loooooong day! Thanksgiving Day: I went and saw Dawn before I went to my family lunch and she said she made up with Mr. Right and they were doing better, I said I told you so, that it was going to be ok if time was given. She said she was planning on going to spend the afternoon with him and his family so I thought to myself that there was no way I would get to see her then and since they made up I wouldn't get to see her before I left, so I said that I was glad to have been able to spend the previous night with her. Then after I went to see the family and all, I called her and she told me that her mother said she couldn't go see him and that she would like to see me sometime that afternoon. She had a concert to go to with her family so I had to be quick;) I stopped by before heading back to the grandparents for dinner just so as to drop off a cd I burned for her. We stood outside and talked for half an hour or so and I kissed her, she kissed me back, the second time and it just felt so right.... I guess it didn't feel the same for her since she is again back into the other guy and kind of forgot about me. I miss being in her arms, yet maybe it is better for both of us to hold off. I want to be with her, and I know I can treat her well, but she needs to know it as well. Anyhow she seems to have had a great time at the concert. While she was at the concert I went and saw Ashley and JD at their place in Victoria. It was a nice apartment and I was really glad to see them. They both looked very happy and it was just nice to be around my old set of friends. Previously I didn't really want to spend much time around them because I couldn't deal with seeing them together, but it was actually a great visit and I hope to visit them again when I am home on Christmas break. It was really nice to see them both! Now today, Friday: I had hopes of seeing her, yet it is 7:30 and still no sign of her. I hope I get to see her before I leave tomorrow to head back to Dallas. I would like to say bye to her and hope she can give me at least enough time to do so. I went and saw my high school computer teacher and her niece Sara. We just kind of sat around in her, Mrs. Hlavaty's, living room and watched the UT, A&M game. We talked when the game was at a dull point or what have you. It was nice to see them and made me happy. When I came home, 6:45pm, mom had dinner ready and we ate and now I am writing in the diary. That has been the extent of my break thus far and I leave for Dallas at noon tomorrow. Well, I will end with this, I hope to see Dawn, I hope everyone out there knows I care for them, and I am grateful for the friends I have and the love they give me. I love each and every one of you and wouldn't change a thing! My family is wonderful and it was great to see them. Hope everyone had a great weekend and look forward to Dallas, yet Dallas = Finals right now, so maybe not;).... Until next time... ~Aaron

Aw, you only said those nice things because you know I read your diary.

Thanks for coming by to see us. I know it meant a lot to me, and it was really great to see you.

Drive safely on your way back to Dallas.
