Acquaintance Party

Feeling: chillin
So long, and good night, so long and good night…- My Chemical Romance Last night was CSM’s very first Acquaintance Party. I almost didn’t go because of the stupid dress code, which was supposed to be semi-formal. Mama wouldn’t let me out unless I follow the school’s strict compliance, so I decided to wear black pants, slip-ons, my halter-strapped black Tribal top, and a denim jacket for a cover up with absolutely no trace of makeup. It was near 4 when I got there, and guess what? Almost everyone wore the typical shirt-and-jeans-and-sneakers. I felt like an outcast! I should have followed my instinct and just wore my Undertaker tee. Maybe that would have scared the hell out of everybody. :p After some introductions, blah blah blah, talent performances of every section were shown. Most of my friends were on the harlem dance performance. (Heck, every section went for dance performances!) Only Slyda and her twin sister Slyka performed a magic show like clowns would do on children’s parties. Not that I didn’t like it. It was fun, really. ;) The hand miming was really impressive, too. Michio also was a good dancer, and Aaron kept yelling for her, saying ”Crush ko yung naka-pink!”, the fact she was wearing pink that night. Poor sap. I ate him alive while he was watching. As if he is so not obvious. :o As promised, Aaron and Kathy wore an all-black ensemble, Andrew was Andrew as usual, Gem looked like Barbie with her pink shell, white miniskirt, and curly locks, Ariane settled for a navy shirt and jeans, Diomedes in a black polo shirt, and John looked good enough to eat in his graphic Superman shirt over another light polo shirt like Mark Herras from SOP Gigsters. That was after the class’s dance performance. Still, I felt like the outcast, but everyone said I look great, and that was good enough for me. ^0^/ After the whole program finished it was finally dinnertime. Me and Aaron bought a couple of Mountain Dews because drinks weren’t available, John was totally exhausted from emceeing, while Andrew dug in last after cleaning up the mess in the corner of the room, despite the fact he didn’t eat lunch. I didn’t enjoy the food much because I wasn’t really feeling hungry, so I just ate about one-thirds of it. It was composed of fried chicken, macaroni, beef teriyaki and rice. Yum-my. :( Before I forget, I borrowed black nail polish from Kathy and put on a quickie on my fingernails. Thank you Kathy! Ü I also borrowed some make-up from Slyda and she helped me apply some on my face, going for a dark but still simple mode. My guy friends kept saying that I looked pretty with makeup on and that it really suits me, but only Aaron was the only one who kept saying it indirectly, even adding that I really was a late bloomer, same as he was. Either way, Thank you Slyda! Ü The only bummer about this whole thing is that my Dad picked me up already at 9, when the dance party didn’t even start yet. I had no one else to blame but myself, by sending an erroneous text message. Fuck me. So I guess that 200 pesos went down the toilet. I think I cried myself to sleep last night. But I’m fine now… The best thing about this, though? Outsiders weren’t allowed. So Camper was nowhere in sight. Hehe. Ü
