what the cat dragged in

our kitty is sick, apparently. i'm not sure if it's the rubber shark he plays with all the time (which he just managed to break and apparently ingest yesterday), or if he's got a cold (i caught him sneezing a few times yesterday - which, i have to admit, was so cute, even if sad). either way, i heard some strange noises and walked in to find two nice little piles of kitty-puke on our rug. )= poor little guy. we're going to watch him and see how he is the rest of the day; if it keeps up, it's to the vet for him! mum apparently checked out a book on germany from their library ('it's reeeally good!'), so we're going up to visit them later to see if we can get any more ideas for the trip. i can't believe that we'll be on our way in just over a month; time really flies. we've really got to get some things cemented, so i am hoping we can accomplish something today. we still have to reserve a room somewhere, and i'd like to have a liiiiittle structure, even if only a bit. i've got an appointment with, of all people, our german teacher on 29 march to work out some invitations for the wedding. she apparently has a side business and gave me her card after our last class was over. she also agreed to practise my german with me a bit, too, which is awesome because mike's been ill, and i don't have anyone else to help me out. anyhow, i was going to ramble on a bit more, but mike's feeling sick and wants to watch a movie with me, so i'll go be cuddly and stuff. hope you're all well!
