according to the weather plus channel, this week is set to warm up considerably. argh. it feels like fall, and then we get those damn little 'heat waves' and they make me grumpy. all of you in favour of having autumn year-round, say 'aye.' perhaps if i get enough signatures, i can print this and plant it in the ground & nature will change her mind about having an annual summer period. spring and winter are swell, too; i think three seasons would be just fine. ;) this weekend was sort of eventful. mike fiiiiinally found a car that he likes. there's also another one that we looked at that is a bit more expensive, which is still available; he's going to bring a cheque to the latter dealer (with the former's lower price) & see if they'll accept it in hand; if not, he'll take it to the other one. both cars are fine; the slightly more expensive of the two is just a bit newer. either way, tomorrow he'll have a new car, which means we can stop putting so many miles on mine trying to find him a new one. rofl last night, we went out with our friends melanie & nathan and had a great time. we've gotten into the habit of going out with them on saturday nights, and mike & i both look forward to it every week. they're excellent friends, and mike and i really are lucky to have them. it's nice to have another pair to hang out with.
