Listening to: Sesame Street Techno Mix
Feeling: cantankerous
Cantankerous. Such a fun word. I have absolutely no idea what the heck it means, but I like it anyways! I don't even think I can pronounce it! But it makes me feel happy inside! :p I hate techno. But this Sesame Street remix is amazing. I love it! And Paul Oakenfield's (is that is name) Elvis songs are amazing too. But that's the only techno I can handle. Unless I'm under nitrous oxide. Then I love techno. But that's a long story that I don't feel like getting in to. Anyways... I feel kinda bad. I think that some parts of my last entry were somewhat misleading. Mostly just the part about my innocence being corrupted. I wasn't necessarily talking about a certain person or persons. I was basically just talking about society as a whole. Almost everything out there is trying to steal our innocence. And Nathan, although I disagree with you on many things, you did have a point: innocence can't really be taken, only given up. However, it can be greatly discouraged and influenced away. I guess it's sort of like one of those peer pressure things again. Good thing I'm pretty good at withstanding peer pressure. And a lot of the 'not innocent' things that people say to/around me don't actually offend me. I don't agree with any of it, but it's not like I (usually) get upset about what someone says. The only time I'll get offended is if they're saying something about me personally, like... I can't really think of one right now. So basically I just don't get offended all that easily. I like to think I'm pretty easy-going...perhaps I'm not. So I'm sorry if I made anyone feel bad about 'corrupting me,' because no one really in specific has. Ooh! I just thought of an example! I WOULD be offended if someone thrust a ca-ca picture in my face or in my locker. That would make me not all that happy inside. Outside I may try to hide my not-happiness w/ the person, but I'd probably avoid that person for quite a while afterwards. Holy geez Em! Why do you like to talk so much?! You weren't going to do a long one for a long time! Geez! I'm practically writing a stinkin book! So I'm going to be leaving now. Good bye. Have a splendiferous day! :) ~Emmy Lou
