Rain comes pouring down As it surrounds Sometimes taking lives Faster than a butcher knife Drowning in not water but sorrow For all has been taken away Life, away from loved ones , Not even a dying gasp to say As I'm still trying Lungs filling with water to capacity Everything seems so murky Obscured view Nothing left to do But hope that this all ends soon The dark impending doom
