Sometimes I wonder if I've made a HUGE mistake. By ending my relationship with Jake, that is. But it's over now and I'm not going to crawl back to him and expect him to welcome me back with open arms. Never will I perpetrate such an act of pathetic, worthless, servility. A screaming, whining, crying, snot-nosed act of self-indulgent-pity. No. Not EVER. Yes, I am letting my pride dictate the choices that I make. Not good in general, but it does wonders for my self-esteem. Which needs all the help it can get, by the way. Whatever.
