- woke up at 6:45 am on a saturday, cleaned my trunk so badger could put his drum set in there. - drove to mike's house to pick him and jase up. mike ended up making me a blueberry bagel with strawberry cream cheese spread. we made alex wait for about 20 minutes. - picked badger up in monterey park where i finally met Eric who is his stepdad, he is extremely nice and proper. it's been about 5 years i've known him and his mom but i guess that's what happens when you're a marine and you're always away. - the first stop we made on our way to fresno was a little past burbank at a gas station where the four of us got out. i got money from the guys and by the time i got out from the station their was these 2 fat mexican kids trying to sell chocolate. shit was funny since they were trying to hustle it and use "big" words such as exquisite. i told them i was on a diet and mike said he didnt have money. alex then came in saying "he has five bucks in his pockets" and then they started being guys and running around the station. - driving through the mountains and passing by the snow, mike was riding shotgun on the way over there and we somehow started playing out of state. i was owning until he called "out of state!" and fucking hit my right leg..... mind you i was driving!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i had an involuntary spasm after that and the car slowed the fuck down, good things cars weren't behind me. - 2nd stop was in Bakersfield where we purchased 2 pairs of drum sticks for alex to play with since he was filling in for TIEFIGHTER that day. all i have to say is white trash written all over that city. fml. - we got to fresno at about 230pm and that shit was so unorganized they ended up starting at almost 5pm. final fight played first which was stupid and tiefighter played 3rd which was good in our part since we left earlier. we weren't on the guest list but why would WE pay for a hardcore show? riiiiiiiiiiight. mike and i got in for free by just bringing in equipment and i loved it. jase was so upset since his stupid ass paid hahaha. - i met kevin for the first time out of no where. i've been talking to this guy online and he's cool as fuck. what a small world that he played for tiefighter before. i'm suppose to hangout with him this friday which i'm looking forward to. what can i say? we both love morrissey so that's a given. - driving back that same day we stopped by del taco where mike was fucking around with my umbrella and pretended to be mary poppins. he bought me a mexican CESAR salad. outside he started to take off his shirt and was running around without it. just to let you know, it was fucking windy and it was starting to rain. i let him drive the rest of the way back home. badger and i were in the backseat and i fell asleep for a bit but was woken up with music. we were all fucking singing and getting rowdy to shit we listened before such as: AFI, TAKING BACK SUNDAY and THURSDAY. i loved it. he got us back home in an 1 and 30 minutes. dropped alex at his place and we pretty much left home. although i got back around midnight, you have no fucking idea how tired i was but i would do it all over again. yesterday was good. three birds ouside the venue commit suicide. an investigation to the purpose has been opened.
