It feels summery again, which is why i'm listening to Beck. I never did listen to this album, but it reminds me of the Summertime more than any of my others, which I find a bit strange. The song E-Pro, along with many others from Bloc Party, The Futureheads, Kings of Leon, Clor, The Kills, The Bravery etc all remind me of last year. Year 10. I started to watch MTV2 and found a whole other...'world' of music. It was nice. We started hanging out with Pie, Raab and all of those from the year above. I bought my 2mm black horseshoe and started to get into this whole new scene. It was refreshing. I felt I was starting to discover myself. I still am. I went off a bit there, but the original point was that, it's not often for me that music reminds me of a period of time in my life, and the above is the best example of when that rarely happens. I guess my original original point is that it feels summery. Which is a bit strange considering we're going through a wintery phase. I'm still discovering myself, and at this point in time, well, moreso in a couple of months, when the transition between school and college begins. I'm going to be one hell of a confused boy. Dayna's feeling down about school. Hn. I'm just going to be there for her, like i've always wanted to be for the girl I would fall in love with. I've always wanted to be the boyfriend that they could smile about when they weren't with them. The boyfriend they were so glad they were with. The boyfriend they loved. Only then would I be in a relationship where the feelings are mutual. And in this one, they are. And I love that. And her. I'm a bit..rambly today. Heh. Later.
