Lackadaisical is one of my favorite words ever! Well, I just wanted to write about yesterday, since it was a pretty awesome day for me. It started with my hair appt. Yea, that wasn't awesome, but it wasn't terrible either, because I kinda like my haircut. Then, we had tap at the new temporary studio. I like that studio a lot. Kirby came to pick me up at about 10:45 to go. So, tap was fun and all...I can't do any of the stuff, but I am learning, and I know, if I keep trying, I can get it soon enough. So, I saw Lori at tap and it was so funny, because I pretended like I wasn't gonna see her until Tuesday, but I really was going to her suprise b-day tonight! It was great being sneaky for once! After tap, I really quickly rushed home to eat lunch(Ramen...the best lunch when you need somethign quick) and then I zoomed over to Trustus for our Workshop from 1-5. The worokshop this month was most def. one of the best ones this season, and it was really fun. It was on Directing, so Jim was in charge of it. The funny thing is, all we did was listen to Jim talk for 2 hours, but it was SO amazing. He told us everything there is possible to know about directing and acting and just poured all his knowledge basically, for us to drink it up. And we all did. At the end of his discussion, all of us weere hungry for more of his talking, but we didn't have any questions to ask, because none of us even KNEW there was so much to know about directing! It was awesome. After Jim was done talking, we had an assignment to get into groups of three. Our directions were to come up with a scene about the three of us and what and who we will be ten years from now. We had to incorporate all three of the people in the group and make the scene be about what our encounter will be like if the three of us accidentally meet again in ten years. Of course, my group's was the best! My partners were Giulia and Molly and this is how the three of us end up in ten years: Giulia ends up becoming the Queen of England, because she marrys Prince Harry, who has had his eye on her for quite some time. Molly has a early-life crisis when she turns twenty and is cast in the role of a man for a play she has auditioned for. However, she is thankful to even be cast, so she takes the job. After being in this show, Molly finds it quite difficult to get OUT of character in normal life and two years later, gets surgery to make this mental problem less noticable by becoming a man physically. After she changes her sex, Molly decides she wants to fulfill her lifeong dream of becoming a guard at the Tower of London. I, on the other hand, am not as much changed as my two friends, but I do become a bit crazier. I am a tourist and live on the road, because I have been searching for ten years for the Holy Grail, which I have yet to discover. Yet, I feel it holds all the answers to life. This is how we meet: Giulia is in one of England's annual parades and, as she is quite unaware of everything but herself, she accidentally trips over a stupid tourist(me) who is asking a guard at the Tower of London for directions to the Holy Grail. After Giulia yells at me and tells me to bow down to her, I realize that it is Giulia and welcome her warmly. She however, has no clue who I am until I remind her and she pretends to remember me. She asks me why I am in England and I tell her of my search for the Holy Grail. She tells me that she has always wanted one for herself as well, and so she agrees to help me look around for it. After looking for a sum of 2 seconds, Giulia has an idea that it might be under Molly's hat, which she picks off the very still Molly's head. Much to our suprise, it is in the hat and I am so happy that I fall to my knees and cry. Giulia is happy too, but she goes off to finish her parade and Molly is happy because she can talk again, because she is no longer wearing a hat. I know, the ending stinks, but I thought it was funny. Anyway, after Trustus, I went to Mellow Mushroom for Lori's suprise b-day party. It was four theatre people (me, Catherine, Hannah, and Keith) and liek 12 of Lori's friends from school. I gave Lori this collage I made for her and I think she really liked it. I also gave her some lipgloss, these manicure things, a cd case, a really cute tiny lint roller, and a pack of gum. The party was fun, although I had to leave early to go to D's Wings for an LPT thing. I went to D's which was much more fun than I had expected. Katie Van Zee, Sarah's older sister is my "big sister", which is good, because she is really nice. After D's I came home and I started typing this, but I am now finishing it on Sunday. Today, I went to church with Elizabeth, because my parents had already gone ahead to sunday school and we had to acolyte. So, now I am still in my church clothes, but I just really wanted to finish this thing. Oh yea, I have decided to become a sort-of vegetarian now. I don't wanna be a REAL one, but I am kidna against eating meat, due to this story that Lucy told me about chicken. UGH...[shudder]. So, now I am gonna try to only eat fish and free-range chicken. It will be hard to make my parents buy me vegetarian stuff though! Anyway, I better change, but I just wanted to get this entry over with!
