Where will I be then?

Today, Mr. Rowell read my paper anonymously to the class. It made me feel good. When I was younger, I really wanted to become a writer and my fifth grade English teacher entered me in this writing essay contest thing, which I didn't win, and then I realized, from not winning, that I really don't like writing that much. Plus, I wasn't really good then either. But, I guess I was pretty good for my age, looking back on it. Anyway, this paper I wrote for English made me very proud, because it was entirely unlike anything I have ever written before and I like the way it sounds too. Not that I want to be a writer jsut because of that one paper! I WOULD NEVER SURVIVE! I would be too lonely! haha. Anyway, yea, I am still going to be an actress when I get out of college. Well, I mean, I am gonna try. Of course, that is professionally, because I am an actress now I guess, just not for a living. Okay, that paragraph was very "stream-of-consciousness"! Let me tell you about me weekend. On Friday, I went to Lucy's birthday party, of course, which was quite fun and then came Saturday. Saturday morning I woke up at around 8:30 or so, but then I was really too tired to be awake so early so I waited til 10 to get up. I would have waited earlier, but I had a tap class that I couldn't miss. At 10, I went downstairs and got some tea and then got ready for tap. My mom and I picked Kirby up and we drove to the dance studio, while the whole ride there my mom and I were fighting. haha. I left my jazz shoes at home and I wanted to take the musical theatre class too, so my mom wouldn't get them, but it was alright because Kirby let me borrow hers. At tap, MK was there!!! It was exciting to finally see her again. I haven't talked to her in forever it seems. So, we talked and she kept doing things to distract me from listening to Cindy during class, because she knew all the stuff already and I didn't and she was just being a poop, but i love her anyways! She was actually being a really funny poop. So, partly because of MK, partly because of my lack of talent, I was off completely in tap and couldn't do like any of the combinations, but oh well. THey will come with time and practice hopefully. I plan on practicing some of the combinations tonight. Lo wasn't in tap which stunk, because usually she is one of my companions in there. But, she was in Myrtle Beach so hopefully she had fun there! So, after tap, Kirby and I had an hour to kill, so we walked from the studio down to McAlister's for lunch. Of course, we both looked like crazy freaks in our dance tights and flip flops in the middle of february walking down the sidewalk of a main road going to get lunch. haha, but the people that saw us ought to get over it by now! McAlister's was very yummy, especially since I hadn't eaten turkey in two and a half weeks! Then, Kirby and I walked back where we sat down and ate our lunches in the dressing room at the studio. Cole and Berkeley eventually walked in, because they had Giselle rehearsal with Kirby and we talked for a little while. By the time it was time for my next class at 1, the four of us decided to go shopping later after their rehearsal was over. We decided to go to Express, because they were having this major pants sale. I went to Musical Theatre with Cindy and it was fun. KELSEY WAS THERE! It was so good to see her again! It made me all happy inside and I thought of back when we first met and I decided we HAVE to do something together soon or I will die of seperation from Kelsey for so long! Anyway, I did good fuette turns (sp?) and that made me happy. I think I am better at regular dance than I am at tap, but that ain't sayin much! SO, after that, I came home and then looked for a monologue and then did various other things, like shopped for my mom's b-day present, and then I went to Forever Plaid at Town Theatre with DiAnna! It was really good. Although, both of us agree that the choreography could have been much better. Oh well, Michael, our friend from Will Rogers who was in it was FANTABULOUS! HE SWALLOWED FIRE IN THE SHOW! We were screaming with suprise and excitement when he performed that trick! ANyway, the show was so good and it didn't have an intermission, which was good, because I didn't feel like getting up. Then, after the show, we congratulated Michael and talked to McLean and Keith who had also seen it. Then, we had 30 minutes to kill before I had to be home, so went and got ice cream at Rosewood Dairy Bar. YUM. haha. Oh yea, I left out the part where we went to Wendy's before the show and complained to each other about everything wrong with our lives while waiting in line and then we decided to be more happy. Sunday was my mom's birthday and I woke up very sore form dance on Saturday, because I think I stretched my muscles too much in one hour. We went to brunch with my grandmother's old friend, Mrs. Lumpkin and it was good. Then, we had to get ready to go to the LPT initiation thingy. It was pretty good, but also VERY sappy! I laughed at some of the more sappy parts. But the food was really good. The tea was good too! AFter that, my dance partners, Cole, Kirby and Deanna, came over to work on our dance. It is not near completion. Then I had piano at 8 so I watched the Super Bowl for a little while and laughed at some of the commercials. That was fun. I went to my piano/voice lesson at 8 and the piano went really well, while the vioce part was not too good, because I have a head cold that makes my head voice sound like a motorcycle without a muffler. And if you haven't heard one of those, it is not good! After my lesson I went to Lucy's house to finish up my homework because my dad was over there watching the Super Bowl with her dad on their big screen T.V. i studied for Spanish there, which obviously didn't help much, because I believe I failed my Spanish test today. We got our interims today. Mine was far below acceptable. I got a C on it. my first time. It was sad. It was in math, but I honestly believe I can make it up! SO there! that is the end of my entry. I have governor's school auditions this weekend and I have not even begun to memorize my monologues. Im screwed. I better go start homework and do that. ADIOS AMIGOS!
