Bad Things Happen to Good People

If bad things happen to good people, how do you know if they're good? Does it mean that they're bad? But they look good in our eyes and we just know any of the bad stuff about them? I don't that made sense.... How do you know if someone is a good person? What is the definition of good?

I don't think there is a specific definition. I think you can be good in different ways. Like, there's the people that are good like...goody goody type thing and then there are people who are good because they're just nice, fun to be around people
Look at Job, in the bible.

He was a good man. God loved Job. But look at all the things that happened to him.

And who is to say who's good or bad beside God? Right? If you believe that. Other than that, I don't know how people decide who's good and who's bad.
