Monk in Training

Remarkable! My fingers are in kinetic motion, punching keys and clicking the mouse. Back to back today I wrote a Macbeth essay then proceeded to write a document-based question in European. I wrote Whitney a letter embellished with drawings of Le Petit Prince characters: la fleur, le roi, l'ivrogne, le serpent and le petit homme lui-meme. The author, Antoine St.Exupery, and the plane he was steering disappeared the same day as my birthday. I like to think he survived a crash onto an island in the unexplored pocket of Southeast Asia. Hah. If Gaugin, a fellow Frenchman, could make ends there, so could Monsieur Exupery. I miss off the wall theories and cryptography we used to describe ideas and people. I can't wait until she comes home next weekend. That's all I'm entering for now unless for no apparent reason you want my hands to crimple up and die.
