I found some good info about the animals left behind after Hurricane Katrina. I wish more people would help them. I can't believe that the government won't let people take their pets. A pet isn't just there for the fun of it. They are there to be apart of the family. When you tell someone to leave their pet behind you tell them to leave a family member behind. It makes me sad to see pictures of animals that are trapt in flooded areas. everyone is so worried about the people that they just forgot that the animals even exsist. I am happy that some people are trying to rescue the animals now. I wish them best of luck, and that they find the owners of the animals that they have already rescued.
