So get this…I haven’t written an entry (or even checked this site) for like 4 days! Wow…go me…I really haven’t been home all weekend, so that’s probably why…but still go me, lol. This weekend has been amazing; probably one of the best in a while. And 3 days makes it all that much better :). Let’s see if I can remember what I even did… Friday: I didn’t end up having to get a shot after all! Someone just screwed up the paperwork…but I still needed a sports physical, so it wasn’t a wasted visit. I pretty much spent 2 hours driving all over town (I took my brother to TLL and pretty much made the entire 101 loop)…and I learned which exits are south of Shea on the 51 (Audra – it’s really weird that we were talking about this earlier in the day, lol). I got home and went on a bike ride with my parents (bonding time:) ) and since my brother wasn’t home I made a fancy dinner for them…I ended up being in the kitchen for about 2 hours, but it was well worth it;)…I should do that more often (if I ever find time, haha). OMG…ALL of my college applications are now in! I am so excited…life should be getting a bit easier (well besides the HUGE research paper due soon…but we’ll forget that exists for now ;D). I am FOR SURE going to study abroad somewhere for about a month this summer. I’ll update on that later when I know more…I am thrilled! Saturday: HABITAT FOR HUMANITY…that was the day…so moving on the Sunday now, jk ;). I had sooo much fun. Audra, Casey, Jackie, Abby and Lauren all ended up going. We got to hammer…A LOT (good shoulder workout, right?)…and we wore hardhats! (quite fun) It was so much fun that I think we’re going to go back next weekend (well at least I am for sure…so if anyone else wants to come with us, let me know:) ). Mao at lunch was fun…I probably should take a million bazillion cards for explaining rules, but there was a minor disagreement on what the rules were, so it had to be done, lol. (oh Audra…do you think that there’s something going on with Casey and Stephen H.? hmm…interesting, lol) Anyway…after Habitat we went home (and I went over to Audra’s) and we pretty much did a bunch of nothing (well a fun bunch of nothing) until we decided to go out to dinner and see a movie (we showered first of course ;) ). I am soooo upset that P.F. Chang’s is closed! (they’re re-opening across the street in the Fall…but that is not soon enough). We went to Pei Wei instead which still made me happy :). We then went to see In Good Company at 10 (I guess this was too late for Audra b/c she fell asleep in the theater…and was snoring! lol, I heart you Audra!). It was a cute movie, but I didn’t like the ending (he should have married her) and it was a bit long. I ended up spending the night at Audra’s house (Audra – we seem to be having a lot more sleepovers lately…I like it:) ) but we pretty much just crashed when we got home, lol (kinda lame? haha). Sunday: I went to the ZOO!!!! I didn’t think it would be all the much fun, considering it was a family outing, but I enjoyed it. It reminded me of when I was like 2 (way back when). It was such a nice day out (now I can see why someone might raise their family in Arizona) and I got to see all the cute little animals! (and the cute not so little ones too). I ate kettle corn, yummy. I now want to go back to the zoo (anyone want to go with me? lol). After I took a nap (yes…I got to actually sleep during the middle of the day!) I played the piano for a few hours and then decided I was going to knit…but my yarn got all tangled up. My mom and I spent a good 2 1/2 hours trying to untangle it (she is awesome…she had a deadline for work, but instead she helped me and we had a nice conversation:) ). That was pretty much the rest of the day, lol…well if any of you knit (or ever attempt to), make sure that you roll a ball of yarn first…just my advice;). Today: I went to the mall (I heart sales at Express:) ), then I went over to Kyle’s house to work on our chem. lab that is due tomorrow…and it took 3 1/2 hours…which was horrible, considering that we actually WORKED on it the whole time. I AGAIN napped when I got home. I’m not sure what I’ve done between then and now, but it definitely did not include doing hw :S…fun at the time, but sucky now that I am screwed, but that’s okay. I have had a fun day today, and then Audra and I are watching this movie we rented that’s from Spain (yes, it’s in Spanish…yay, I’m actually getting my Spanish hours done! lol) tomorrow evening, so that’s something to look forwards to. So anyway…it’s like 1:30 in the morning and I have to get up for school in 5 hours. Plus I still have hw to get done tonight. I’m going to go for now, but I’ll be back tomorrow!
