I stood there with my Cerebrus in my right hand ready for an attack. Then Nightmare pulled out his sword and ran towards me. I started to fire at him as he approached. My bullets wouldn’t penetrate his armour. I stood there in shock as he swung his sword. I jumped in the air over his blade, but he grabbed my foot and threw me to the ground. I turned over in time to see Nightmare raise his sword over his head. Then he swung it down at me. I was able to role out of the way just in time to dodge the sword. I quickly stood up and got ready for another attack. Then Nightmare charged at me again. But this time I noticed that his left hand was mutated and didn’t have armour. So I aimed my Cerebrus at his hand and fired a direct shot. Nightmare dropped his sword but didn’t stop running towards me. I panicked; there was nothing else to stop him with. I stood in shock as Nightmare stopped in front of me. He grabbed me by the neck and lifted me of the ground. “I pity you Vincent,” He said. Then he threw me into a wall, grabbed his sword, and ran off. I stood up and looked around for Jericho. When I found him he was still unconscious. So I picked him up and walked toward the town that everyone else ran to. The village wasn’t far but I was exhausted from the fight and it was getting dark. So I put down Jericho and went to sleep. In the morning I woke up and Jericho was sitting there waiting for me to get up. I stood up and told him that we have to get to the village. He asked me what happened, but I told him that I would explain when we get to the village. It took us half the day to get there. When we arrived I ran to the nearest inn to see if Sabrina made it. I went up to the front desk to ask but no one was there. “VINCENT!!!” someone yelled from behind. I turn around and there stood Sabrina. She ran up to me and rapped her arms around me. “What took you so long?” she asked me. Then she looked down and there was a gash down my knee. I looked at her and assured her that I would be fine. So we walked out of the inn and she took me to someone to get my knee looked at. They bandaged it up. We walked back to the inn. That night I got to sleep in a bed, but I couldn’t sleep. Nightmare was able to over power me and I know he will attack when he has healed himself.
